The 5th in the Crown Of Thorns series.

Dan came back for more, this time with the blooded palm. Don’t worry, it wasn’t my blood…

I found creating this series an uplifting and invigorating experience and I believe that it helped to open my heart to Jesus and paved the way towards my becoming a Christian.

The image of Dan was layered and filtered and then converted to black and white with the “blood” retaining its colour. I then added this to a texture layer and overlayed it so I could erase part of Dan to blend it in with the texture a little bit more cleanly. PS7 used.

All my own pictures.

I’ve been taking photographs since 1997 and I still love it. After a brief dislike of photomanipulation I now use Photoshop extensively on a majority of my work. People are my favourite subject and I’m always on the look out for new models, so drop me a line if you’re interested! :)
