Artist's Description

Karen and I visited this much loved welsh village on the coast. Portmeirion is best known as the location for the cult 1960s television series The Prisoner filmed on location here during 1966 and 1967. However this is just one of the many film shoots that have taken place at Portmeirion over the past 70 years from Doctor Who to Cold Feet.
Within the grounds are lovely walks, along the estuary and through woods. Nestled in the woods is a Japanese garden.
