Painful Love III

This is the last of the Painful Love’s, so I hope you enjoy this piece, it’s very sad.
I won’t ruin it, however I will say, that abuse in any form is wrong, this shows the path of woman who couldn’t bare it anymore, this is the worst outcome, and I’m sure this has probably happened, but it shouldn’t. Woman should be loved and respected and never should any man who is man raise is hand or abuse to her in any way.

Sleep well my angry love,
dream your kicking,
screaming sickness.
As I watch you,
tears of silence drop,
a welcomed bliss,
I had learned to stop.

Sitting here,
with all your insanity,
with the fist,
that stole our love,
I hold your hand,
that tame-less beast,
now like the feathers of a dove.

I have pleaded for broken dreams,
you smashed and lost,
like the smile,
that sat with pride,
as I stared at your,
hand red and bruised,
I realized the twisted by my side.

I ask forgiveness,
for my strength,
I share a whisper,
with your soul,
as I place the knife,
into my hands,
I see your love,
through blackened coal.

I feel the smile I longed to touch,
escape the pit you made,
there was a time you drove me wild,
and for that past I stayed.

Baby I’m no fool,
I thank you out of kindness,
I know now what I couldn’t have,
through your hurtful ways of love,
but without love I would only starve.

As you lay upon your back,
I softly climb upon your chest,
gently I kiss you on the lips,
as you rise to the blade,
and the coldness of its tip.

A thousands words I could have said,
but silence was all I knew,
you looked at me,
I’m still the bitch,
in your eyes I see it’s true.

Darkness engulfed,
release of pain,
my wings threw out in light,
as I shared my love,
with just a look,
I handed you the fight.

Take back the pain,
my beautiful man,
my demon with the sorrow,
I leave you all the hurt,
and whys,
and the stains of blood,
to ruin skies.

Goodbye my love,
my broken soul,
my painful love,
that took it’s toll,
take a piece,
the blame of death,
take my piece,
and take my breath.

Emotional words written with a real perspective of life…In that, we don’t all have happy-endings.
Thankyou for sharing this…All 3 pieces are paeans to standing up against brutality. Alas the abused can sometimes become the abuser which can become even more poignant when that abuse turns on oneself…

A thoroughly thought-provoking triptych of words you have created here!!!

Unfortunatly, in this she actually kills herself, she loves him to much to take his life, but wants to leave him with the pain for the rest of his life, this is the not so good endings, but sometimes the frightful truth for some.
