This last weekend was great as I managed to get out and take lots of photos, as you will see, as I upload shots in the next few days. Snowdrops on Saturday, Glastonbury Abbey and Chalice Well on Sunday and sunrise photos on Wednesday.

I’m starting to get into stock photography more now but have been pretty unsuccessful with Alamy over the past year. As such, I’ve signed up with both istockphoto and snap village. A word of warning on istockphoto: the application process is long winded. Not only that but on submitting photos for review I got told that one was overprocessed and the other had artifacting. In fact the overprocessed one had a slight curve to boost colours and the other photo had no artifacts whatsoever as it was saved straight from a raw file! After searching around on google I found that other users had experienced similar and had suggested that the checking was automated somehow… I had to wait 50 something hours before re-submitting 2 new photos so I look forward to hearing their comments this time.
