After a really sunny weekend I was able to get out and take some photos. Instead of travelling far I set my sights on the garden and decided to take a lie down with the grass… the fruits of this can be seen in my artwork.

I also visited Ham Wall nature reserve at Shapwick Heath near Meare. I haven’t found any amazing pictures from my set but I just enjoyed the experience of seeing quite a few thousand starlings (a million perhaps?) swirling around in all sorts of shapes. There were around 100-200 people watching so it really felt like a special event… and all for free! I’ve paid money to see different events that weren’t half as good as this. Thankyou nature.
