Paul, this is an incredibly good landscape image. I like the delicate, soft colors in this, and the quality of the light on the bridge trees and hillsides. This composition has the feeling of a landscape painting at the beginning of the 19th century. Excellent work, my friend! Cheers! Chris

ooooh it’s full of water! love riding my bike around the reservoirs all round there. have sat on that bridge several times and eaten my lunch when i were a lad…. beautiful was much wetter last time i was there lol

I know this place very well ! Used to live 10 minutes away.. as a kind I spent many hours walking on these moors !

When I was older and supposed to be going to work.. I would just carrying on walking past the workplace and away onto the Moors

That’s so weird. As soon as I saw this photo, without even knowing the location, I thought that it looked like “home”
So I checked where that is (thanks to Andy Mercer’s link)... Lancashire.
I was born in Lancashire, but haven’t lived there since I was 6 years old in 1976.
