I love this Paul, very atmospheric… feeling of mystery, ghostly figures… awesome. where is this
    mysterious tower situated?

  • Paul Gibbons replied

This tower is on the hill above Rivington in Lancashire, it was built around 1910 by Lord Lever for his wife to keep pigeons. The Pigeon Tower has 3 storeys and was used as a lookout, with Lady Lever’s a sewing room on the top floor. it is now closed to visitors but is located on the hill with spectacular views across to the North Sea, Wales and the Lake District.
