An organic produce worker with a background in popular culture and publishing whose first memory was of cave paintings and moon landings.

Pencil, pen and watercolor are his arsenal, but Pete has been dragged kicking and screaming into the 21st century and his trusty tool set has been lately joined by Ye Olde Digital Magicks using the versatile open-source image manipulation program GIMP and Corel Painter.

On the one hand I have utilized a photo-realistic style for illustration and specimen work. Please visit my Watercolor, Animalia, and Insects and Arthropods galleries to view this work.

On the other, my more fantastical pieces often emerge from random lines thrown across a page, a purer, more intuitive approach to creativity. My Scifi, Lovecraftiana, and Black and White galleries are well-stocked with these.

Both emerge from my left hand.

Says Pete about his fascinating and hectic day job: “People need to eat. I make sure they eat well.”
