By the end of the fifth century of the Post-Human Era, the few remaining primate types, still clinging to the persistent delusion that they had created all the Thousand Races, were collected and traded among the more well-heeled merchants and bureaucrats. Transport of these curious relics included bodyguards and personal attention by ships’ officers.
