Artist's Description

Pen and ink on 110lb bristol. By the end of the fifth century of the Post-Human Era, the few remaining primate types, still clinging to the persistent delusion that they had created all the Thousand Races, were collected and traded among the more well-heeled merchants and bureaucrats. Transport of these curious relics included bodyguards and personal attention by ships’ officers.

Another image from The Thousand Races project, which includes the 2012 publication of The Thousand Races: Sketches from the Post-Human Era.

Please take a stroll through some of the portraits from The Thousand Races here, and I hope you’ll like, comment, share and pin to your heart’s content.
