I was touring Yellowstone National Park. A buffalo plodded toward us but kept to a well-worn strip of earth in the prairie grass, some route that had not changed for years.

    Wow, great shot!

  • Made better with Aperture and Gimp image wizardry. Thanks Laura!

Fantastic shot! Couldn’t help but be reminded of the video that hit the media yesterday – big Bison rollicking, frolicking, in other words, aggressively threatening a woman, who ended up with some wild footage as she rolled on the ground. Guess she lived to tell the tale….

  • Ooh, second independent reference to this event I’ve heard today, so I must look it up. We saw some stupidity during our visit to the park, but I just turned to my nephew and said “That’s natural selection in action.”
    Thanks artwhiz!
