An unassuming stone proudly proclaims “I am Providence.” Located in the Swan Point Cemetery in Providence, Rhode Island. The items visible are perhaps tokens left behind by other fans, but I only had an Altoid.

Not far from Lovecraft’s grave is a little granite tombstone in the shape of a house, very handily crafted (love-crafted?) that simply says ‘Gone Home’ on it. Interesting cemetery.
wow…this actually brought a tear to my eye. If you ever go back, could you maybe put a little flower there for me? I don’t know if I’ll ever get to Rhode Island myself but I sure would love to visit. HPL is my ultimate literary hero and inspiration. x
