What artist’s portfolio is complete without a careful rendering of one’s footwear? A typical basic art assignment, I found solace and inspiration in my trusted Vasque hiking boots. I chose pen and ink to communicate a sense of time-worn simplicity and utility.

Nice great detail and its true any artist will most likely have a study of their shoes somewhere in one of their sketchpads ,I remember in my college days I had pages and pages of my trainers in my sketchpad as well as some drawings of my soccar boots
