Hi Pete,
This one is very light hearted. What is a tooloo? I love the touched of colour on her shoes. Nice one.
Angela
‘Tooloo’ is a reference to ‘Cthulhu’ a mythical world-consuming monster central to the works of author H.P. Lovecraft.

talk about sucking face! lol, cool….
I’d like to bump this one up to another medium, but I have difficulties choosing. traditional watercolor? oil? digital magick?
– Pete Janes
water colour would work well i think, really minimal perhaps?
no harm in trying out some digital magic on it. makes me feel all squishy and slithery! very funny!
This is fantastic :-)
How isnt this featured yet, brilliant
Very much appreciated, Ben!

Romantic.
Yeah, I think I did this in a coffeehouse trying to woo some girl with Lovecraft!

Different strokes – Great Interpretation of all that is Howard (including his perceived problems with the ladies….)
I remember reading in his biography that Lovecraft’s wife, Sonia Greene, described him as “adequately fulfilling” his side of their brief marriage, and in later studies in psychology I recall a lot of Freudian symbolism among his monstrous creations, but from reading his letters it seems that he just never really had any interest in the opposite sex. Talk about fear of the unknown!
