Glorious Morning by Robin Webster

I took this image a couple of years ago on a very early morning walk near my home in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada.
(I walk every morning first thing just to wake up these old bones and get myself moving for the day)
It was extra early on this particular morning … still dark out as a matter of fact and it was starting to get light as I came to the end of the path that is one that I rarely go down. To my delight the sun was just peaking through the trees and shining over the mist rising from the water on this small pond that I didn’t even know was there! The brilliant light was almost blinding! It turned the deep greens of the foliage into a bright warm yellow. Of course I had my camera with me because you just never know….
I have only rediscovered this image today and was filled again with a sense of wonder just viewing it, so I dusted it off, spruced it up and now will share it with all of you.

Third verse of the Book of Genesis.

In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
And God saw the light, and it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness*

This is so BEAUTIFUL Robin, FIVE GOLD STARS and a favour…Jules

  • The perfect quote to go along with this image Julie! Thank you so much for that. Glad you like it my dear. One day I will show you this spot. It is just a normal spot you could walk by and never even notice. It sits right in a sub division. On this morning as the sun was rising it was just like a little bit of heaven come down to greet me. :))

Another Wow!!! This is simply beautiful Robin! A true testament of why we should carry our camera ~ always ~ which I am very guilty of not doing…Lol
Glorious colour and light in this delightful image!!!!

  • Yup….not my biggie, but my little pocket camera goes on my morning walks with me. I have missed some wonderful opportunities over the years because I don’t always remember to take it with me and then I want to kick myself! Haha…
Thank you so much for the nice comment! :)
