Tell your alter ego that she is just as talented as you! The used of the dark against the opaque is lovely!! Wonderful image, my friend!

  • I really had a lot of fun with this image Barb! If you saw the original you would never guess that it could be turned into this. It was a terribly boring picture that I was just about to delete and then I started playing with it instead and this is what I came up with.

Create one more alter ego… and you can be maggie, margie, and peggy!! hahaha… this is a wonderful creation! you have such a good eye for creating things like this… it’s just lovely… Artfully done, and magically created Barb

  • Artful and magic…hmmm…not really…I call it luck! But then I guess my alter would say no no no I knew exactly what I was doing….hahaha!!!!! Thanks so much Barb for your lovely kind words!

Excellent, the softness of the white with the spaces and the bit of color spaced around. It is not easy to tell exactly what it is but it is beautiful.

  • Thanks for the wonderful comment Byron! This image was taken in my front garden Byron. It is a birdbath that sits in front of the fence between us and our neighbour. There is a Robin perched on the edge of it. There are a couple of tulips in front of it and a magnolia branch hanging down above it. A very ordinary picture really and I was going to get rid of it but then I started to play……….

Very much like the way the medium is obscured and and all we’re left with is the image – I think art should aim to do that whenever possible. Nice job.

  • What a wonderful thing to say Kyle! I appreciate it! Glad you like it! Thank you so much!
