Albert Einstein, understood the importance of play and went about his investigations much like an artist creates a work of art.
This image was created for a Play-In protest. We took over the hall way at the Chicago board of Education and had a few hours of free choice play time for children. Blocks, art supplies, dress up costumes, music, books and other activities were available for all present. This protest was to highlight the fact that play as been removed from the youngest grades at CPS. A kindergartener can take up to FOURTEEN standardized tests throughout the school years.
