This is one of my very first pictures that I took when I started this journey last year (2008) during the foliage season. I never knew that I would “develop” such a passion for this “hobby”! This picture holds a very special place in my heart and always will, for many reasons. One, because it really did inspire me and hooked me on this hobby but there is a more personal reason. I have always loved NH, my grandparents (loved them dearly) had a cottage built in Greenfield, New Hampshire USA. When we were kids, we would see Zephyr Lake and would yell “first lake” and knew we were close to our final destination, the cottage! It represents so many things to me: love, family, peace, childhood, beauty!
I dedicate this picture to my Grandparents, Jim and May Scanlan, AKA Nana and Pup!
