Thank you for all your comments. It has been suggested to me to crop out the black/blank space at the top of the image but I think that would drastically change the mood of the shot. As you can see the black is still there ;)

I’ve always liked this shot. I’m surprised it turned out as well as it did. I still had my polarizing filter on my lens from earlier in the day. I was panning to capture him in flight and was able to hand hold the lens to capture this at dusk.

Great image. You’ve done really well to freeze the movement so well in this light. You’re right about the cropping as well. The image would be unbalanced without the top section & would probably look flat. Leave it how it is. It couldn’t get any better.
