very very graphic!!..i luv your new work!!
thanks Shylie, lovely to see you!
like this one very much…I always like a bit of green in a painting.you don’t paint enough….and your “it’s winter and it’s too cold to paint” excuse is lame :)xo
I’m painting as much as I can!…you know, I have to make the canvas and all…I really don’t want to just paint on paper. The prob with the cold is that I can’t use the smelly undercoat in the house and don’t have an area outside I can use that is under cover…and it rains as soon as I try to paint outside!…and it’s too cold for the undercoat to dry (do not use below 10 degrees) there are all my lame excuses.thank you, so nice to see you Adam, I thought you had vanished! ; )xx
it looks fabulous Soxy, the colours are much richer than in your journal and I love the composition of shapes and colours. It really stands out in my activity feed and I knew it to be yours straight away when I saw it there :)
my night time snaps are always pretty bad, phone pics or in this case a little snappy with flash. But I always feel the need to journal when a piece is finished. thanks Karin, I’m pleased you like it. I’m working on another large one now which will take some time. I usually complete them in one go but this one has some challenges….a very bumpy surface and while the composition is there I’m far from happy with the colours just yet…
