I did this to send to Norway…if you are on twitter look up #twitterartexhibit

this is a progress photo I took before I glued the collage….as usual the photo looks great…I do like this way of collaging! I altered it a little as I glued, this usually happens as it is really difficult to get everything in exactly the same spot. But I really like the photo and I think it is great as is.

I might scan and upload the final collage when it is dry

collage, endless, coda, music, vintage

Soxy moves between different media, recycling, assembling, capturing and bringing previously unseen things to the surface.
If she’s not creating something visual she will be singing and making music….

So keep the photo! Sometimes one does something that should be a photo and is better than a glued “final.” Very nice, indeed!

  • yes indeed…I have varnished the finished one now and I’m not sure it will scan well anyway. thanks mm

ha ha… for a while there I was just taking photos of collages held up by magnets on the boards. Magnets included. Then they went away for good. Only on the computer and cyberspace. Some things are sort of that way. But you have a buyers’ constituency so “finished” is probably best to have.

    love it.

  • thanks Bec, it has a few extra pieces in the final version and is arranged in a slightly different way…I’m glad I photographed it because it didn’t scan well once I had varnished it (and now it is in the post to Norway!)
