There’s no better medium for art or graphic design than canvas. Our prints are solid yet refined works of art in their own right. Add a striking and unique masterpiece to any room.
Art comes in many shapes and sizes, and our canvas prints are built to fit each of them. The final dimensions will depend on the image you choose, but to give you an idea, here are the most common photographic sizes:
This is a higher res image of the previous one.
I exposed a piece of photographic paper in this camera
then I developed this paper negative in solution of instant coffee and washing soda. Scanned, inverted and adjusted in photoshop
alternative photography, analogue, beauty, girl, sadness, soxy, woman
Soxy moves between different media, recycling, assembling, capturing and bringing previously unseen things to the surface. If she’s not creating something visual she will be singing and making music….
I love the whole experimentation you have done with this and the final image is amazing. Congrats!
thank you…I am truly amazed at this lot…just wait for the next one!

Cool hardware, great technique. You’re a good thinker
the hardware is stunning…zeiss ikon…forget the year just now but it is very old. I’ll be doing more with this machine, it folds up into a lovely solid compact unit.thanks for the comment and visit
Amazing Soxy, coffee is underrated! look forward to seeing what else you do with the technique : )
yes the coffee is a wonder (and the mango has been sliced)thanks for the visit!
how fabulous Soxy…. just love these to bits…. well done……
thank you Juilee…these as you can imagine are VERY exciting! I have more to upload but scanning is chucking a wobbly….great to get back to the dar room…hope all is well with you
If I had it I’d break it just from folding and unfolding it. I love the way they’re made. And that when retracted they’re solid enough to beat something to death with.
this one is in remarkable condition. It does take a bit of nutting out…which bits do what. It even has a self timer. I was at a party before christmas and people were carrying on about their flash digital cameras…I pulled this out of my handbag… and put an end to that!
well that’s all a bit clever! the outcome is lovely.:-)
it’s a bit of magic really…I don’t know why I don’t have more failures when I do this!thank you!
naturally gifted :-))
Excellent process and series, I’m happy to have found your work today!
thanks for dropping in, nice to meet you
a really beautiful cyanotype .. love the framing and the tones are wonderful.
thank you….it’s not actually cyanotype….the paper negative is slightly sepia and when I invert it in photoshop I get the blue colours…..for me it is part of the process and it feels right to leave it that colour. I really would like to get around to printing up positive images so your adventures with wet plates I find very interesting.
you learn something everyday :) It looks beautiful ..
thank you (and of course she is beautiful!)
