Strangely enough, I’ve been doing some work on canvas. I’ve been ripping the edges, flaying them with a wire brush and then stitching them together with coroner’s thread. To some extent this reminds me of that, which is probably why I like it. I’ve always liked pinhole photography, and way back in the ‘80s I combined it with gum bichromate processing for some fairly interesting images. Sadly, one angry girlfriend with a bucket of water and one crackhead neighbor relieved me of all the images I had saved, so I can’t show you anything from back then.

This is good. Very evocative and speaks of aching loneliness. To me.

I’m going to get to a few more but wont be able to comment on all tonight as I have other shit to get to. Sigh.
