Through this gapping wound i stare
My eyes have seen too much i declare
This tare in my sight
Leads me to the endless fight
Where there is no day only night
There is no peace left inside
The archers bend their bows, but
My heart is already pierced with arrows
An empty hand and dubbed a thief,
I hate this kind of belief.
Heart so stricken with disease i swear
Just because of this loving tare
What you going to brutalize me some more
I won’t avenge i promise i swore
Eat your hate swallow my pride
more disease to pummel me inside
Laugh and laugh and laugh some more
Just remmember that hole you tore
To be hated on every side and still love
you call that selfish pride
Do you recall that saying by a wing and a prayer
Thats my home i live in there
Grace is what keeps me afloat
And Grace is why this ends on a better note.

Personally, turning the cheek is Always hard…but it gets easier the more I think about how many times God has turned His cheek for me…
