I saw this lady artist at her work, and she seemed totally unaware of the rush hour traffic whizzing by behind her.

wow I agree with andy, she probably didn’t even notice that you took a photo of her! So natural, i think this is such a precious capture =)

  • You’re right, knightingale, she didn’t see me – must have been my magical Cloak of Invisibility! Thanks for your kind comment.

Excellent candid, she is obviously lost in concentration there.

wonderful capture – i love all the activity going on behind her and yet she seems oblivious – she totally absorbed in what she is doing. Love the b&w too (am i right in saying that the Leica M3 was the best one made – at least in the M series?)

  • Yes the Leica M3 was so good it was difficult to think how it could be improved. It could certainly do all of the things the later models could do a real classic…….Wondeful how the lady was so absorbed in her work. Thank you for your comment, Deborah.

First of all, congrats on the feature! Well-deserved. I love the way her creative process is like a bubble around her, as you stated in your description. Also, on a personal note, I tend to feel more and more disconnected at times with my muse, as I get older. I think because I have more responsibility as the years go by. This is a sign of hope for people like me. . .that you never “lose it”, no matter the age. Bravo!
