Still-life with crockery

Artist's Description

Polaroid PN 55 was a film for large format cameras and produced both a print and a negative of the image shot. A great film, I don’t know if it is still available. Anyway I set up this little still-life in my sitting room in the early 1970s. The only lighting here is from a nearby table lamp – there was no other light available and I had to make a virtue out of necessity. In the event it provided a pleasant chiaroscuro lighting which was well-captured by the Polaroid film. This is from the negative which is still in quite good condition. This was scanned for the Still Life group here at Redbubble.
