Boy and the Swan
Chanced upon this scene when walking in the country and captured the image as swiftly as I could. Dates from the 1960s but some have claimed it is timeless. An American lady was inspired to write a poem about this – a lovely piece which I intend to add here.

I saw this picture and instantly though of Lita and the Swan, an epic poem where Zeus fell for a mortal woman who would have nothing to do with him. Zeus apparently seduces the woman in the form of a swan, and the Progeny created was Helen of Troy.

Just beautiful, to think we now have the luxury of 100’s of shots to get one good one and with film you had to be so parsimonious and hopefully get it right the first time. That is real talent.
