Michael Gray
david your photos are incredible…. exceeding many many proffessional photographers i have seen. your images do wonders in capturing what needs to be captured. well done.
david malcolmson replied
Thank you, Michael, for these very kind words. The truth is I never wanted to be a professional still photographer. I graduated from a film school and would have been happy in the world of cinema but my eyesight wasn’t deemed good enough – I am almost blind in my right eye, and professional cine cameras viewfinders are invariably designed for right eye viewing. Crazy, but that’s how it goes. The situation these days with cine cameras is much better, with LCD screens in general use. Too late for me!
Shaun Johnston
