Sorin, you captured that boys life, you showed him to us, we saw him smile and play because of you. Because of you he touched our life.
Take those photos Sorin to somewhere to someone – publicize his death and his life – it will not go unnoticed. I am sure the Mother’s pain is great so too his brothers and family, he did not need to die.
God bless you Sorin and May God bless his soul.

I am very sorry to hear this child died because of poor living conditions. One of my favorite websites is http://www.thehungersite.com/. A person can click for free once each day and each click buys a little over a cup of food for a child. Another click on the site helps with medicine for children. Your photo is a tribute to this child’s life.

That is sad, and the sadder thing is it happens time and time again, and there seems to end to this kind of thing. It breaks your heart.
SylviaHardy, 8 months ago
This is so upsetting Sorin, I just wished that life wasn’t so cruel to them!
Documentary is a powerful tool to use to expose such horendous situations. Compation is what these poor people need and to win peoples heart to help these ones is to make it public and get to know how bad their lives really are.
And for the fact you did photograph them and this is known on RB, hopefully this will spread and people will be moved to help? Even sometimes people who have the means and the power to do so, Chareties could be set up by honest hearted people, to help them out with food, clothing and even medicines?
That is the power of documentary Sorin!

Sorin, thank you for letting us know the sad news of the child who died in the Gypsy camp.
You have done a lot to help them already because your photos document and bring attention to their difficult life. Do give them prints of your photos and also distribute them to your local media. Hopefully, your gesture will bring some help to the unfortunate in your country.
hugs, A.

Henk Stolk, 8 months ago
Why…? Why do children have to die like this.. with all the money flying around. Look at those movie stars and jetset way of living. Their stinking diamonds, their millions in the bank, wasting 5 million on weddings and parties..Why doesn’t any of these overwealthy people stand up and… sorry guys.. a bit too much.
it’s not needed for children to die like this in this world. Absolutely absurd.
Yet.. it happens… why?Good on you, Sorin, to have us make memorise this poor boy. Lets think for a moment about the future he never had…
I look at my kids and think.. so precious… so precious

Gerijuliaj, 8 months ago
This is very sad news Sorin – your photograph and story have helped to highlight these children and their plight. His memory at least will live on with us at RB….to lose a child is the worst thing imaginable. My heart goes out to his parents and friends.
flower68, 8 months ago
So sorry Sorin.It’s heartbreaking yeah.I can’t stand all the celebrity crap that is all over the news when things like this go on in the world. There is so little awareness and compassion running through the human race,when you think about how much there REALLY COULD BE and what a difference it would make to in our world.Hugs xo

Kathryn Potempski, 8 months ago
This is a tragic and senseless death of a beautiful young child’s life, his next life will be so much better I hope this poem makes you feel better Sorin and Henk we cannot change the
world but we can help in our own way.
Do not stand at my grave and weep.
I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow;
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain;
I am the gentle autumn’s rain.
When you awake in the morning hush,
I am the swift uplifting rush.
Of quiet birds in circled flight,
I am the soft star that shines at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry;
I am not there; I did not die.

Basia McAuley, 8 months ago
That is so so sad :( I’m absolutely speechless, I know this happens on a daily basis but we just don’t hear about it. I am so happy that you were able to capture this little boy and his life as I feel he has been, to a point validated. My thoughts will be with him & his family.
Kym Breeze, 8 months ago
Sorin you shared this boy with the world, his life will not go unnoticed….
His soul is free to roam where every gypsy wishes to roam, with no pain…no sadness,
It is sad one so young must go…
Keep up the good work, in recording the lives of these people, maybe through your photos there is a way to raise funds so they no longer need to be hungry…...just a thought…take care Kym

Sorin,
I am sorry to here of the tragic death of the little gypsy boy. I am glad I got to see him in life through your photos. I know it is not much, but take solace in that you helped to immortalized him for the world. He won’t be forgotten because you captured him through your art and imprinted him on each of our hearts. My deepest condolences.

Sorin, your picture brought a tiny portion of this boy’s life to a tiny portion of the world – more than most of us can expect! “Fame’ of course couldn’t save him, or change his circumstances, or make his life better … BUT …perhaps this tiny portion of the world that is RedBubble can make a tiny difference. I hope so. Well done Sorin.

It’s already been said a hundred times above this comment, but this is a sad thing to hear about. I am an American who has just moved to Cluj and have wanted to photograph gypsy life but haven’t had the chance yet. I’m afraid they would just think of me as an intruder or foreigner… So I love looking at your photos of gypsy life.. Thank you Sorin.
