A great portrait. You just keep turning out such amazing images. Life is hard but these people are up to it. Perhaps they know something about living that we, in our comfortable lodgings, do not.

The black & white works well really the only medium to capture this portrayal with, bet this old lady could tell a story or two

i like that you didn’t tone this one. the blacks are deep, but still hold detail. what superb feel you have for these shots my friend. i love how her skirt is hiked up halfway to her chest. great motion blur in the trailing foot. super shot.

I keep asking myself what language this great lady would speak if I were fortunate enough to pass her by on this road. Romanian? A real mixture of fast and slow, weak and strong, cross and just plain hurrying. Love the complexity of your images.
