I really like the tones and composition here Sorin. The colours suit the olde-worlde feel to the image. What I don’t like and what really bothers me is the fact that the image slopes a lot to the right.

This is a great picture. It brings memories when I was growing up. My mother raised chickens. I used to help feed them. The roster used to chase me around – not fun. Very nice.

Yes in a vilage clouse to my town

I have 2 “fancy” chickens. My dtr orig saw them at the feedmill 3 1/2 yrs ago and begged to get them (could not turn her down). She as since graduated from academy, moved away for college. I have had the priviledged of caring for these ladies, as I call them each morning when I go to feed & water them. To my surprise I have enjoyed their company and their brown eggs….so I love this picture!

This pic just says it all! Chicken life, there is no better way to live! It’s such a tight little organic circle, everything feeds into everything else. Garbage feeds chickens, chicken poop feeds the garden, just add sun and rain and earth and the chicken universe takes care of itself.

The striking commonness of this activity, the woman’s attire, the setting… It’s engaging in its simplicity. Well done.
