I’m a forensic science student at the University of Lincoln. I live in Lincolnshire, England.

I’ve been interested in photography since doing a module in forensic photography at Uni.
I use either my Nikon EM, or my more recent purchase which I’m still getting used to, a Nikon P50.
I’m not a great fan of digital photography, although I do like some of the more clever effects you can bring about, such as HDR. But the magic of film, along with that satisfying ‘click’, just isn’t there.
Digital cameras record what they ‘see’; film cameras record what is there. I’m not sure what that means yet, but it sounds deep…
A lot of my photos are of my two cats, Dylan and Dawn. This isn’t on purpose, and I’m trying to stop myself from taking pictures of them because I’m getting swamped in cat photos. But they just keep doing cute stuff, which I feel the need to record forever.
Also, Dylan and I are working on a calendar, which is slowly coming together.
When not taking photos of cats, I like just walking around town, and up by the river, taking photos of pretty things that catch my eye. I like passageways and alleys, secret places that go unnoticed. I also enjoy night photography, and playing with available light.
