Great Russulas! My son gets a free ice cream cone when he finds the first of these for the year…no luck yet. :o) Many of the reds are considered pretty poisonous so be careful!
Is it perhaps a Russula sanguinaria? If it is, it would be edible … but I would never eat any mushroom I find because I know next to nothing about them. I’m happy just taking photos of them :)
