A sombre day along the east shore of Lake Superior about 90 km north of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario Canada. I love to get out of my car and go hiking along this coast – at times along rugged trails and at other times on eroded ancient rock like here. This was taken in April, 2010 and a bit of snow continued to linger. It was calm, cold and not a soul around for miles. I would have preferred it to be a wee bit warmer but the brisk walking made it acceptable.
