I woke up early Sunday and saw from my window that the sky had that golden winter glow just before sunrise. By the time I drove down to the lake the sun was up although some of the yellow glow remained. To make it even more beautiful, Toronto had received about 10 cm (that’s about 4 inches for our imperial friends) of fresh powder snow overnight. When I got there, there was only 1 car in the parking lot but as you can see from the photo he and his dog beat me to this place. I shot directly into the sun because I wanted to capture the light reflecting off the snow.
