Sunlit waves on Lake Superior by Eros Fiacconi (Sooboy)

It was a dark, cold and stormy day along the east shore of Lake Superior north of Sault Ste. Marie. The waves were pretty interesting. As I was taking photos, the sun broke through the clouds for a brief moment and lit the waves. This condition created a great contrast so that the waves are nice and bright and the water inky black. In the back you can see how dark the storm clouds were.
