    Japanese Maple!
You’ve taken a love pic of these colorful leaves!!

They are expensive weeds up here in the US Northwest, (Washington State). We’re on about the same latitude as Japan, so they naturalize like a charm!

Japanese Maples come up from any of their seeds that make it to the ground, and lots do,
but if you buy one from a plant nursery, they charge an arm and a leg for them. And they’re “dirty” in that they shed leaves in profusion in the Fall and the leaves float to ensure that they cover the roof, the front stoop, the garden, everything.
And everybody loves them but me!
Again, you’ve got an excellent photo, and I can certainly admire that!!

  • Hello Dandy!!!

thank you for all the info, I didnt know what tree it was , so thank you for sharing all that with me!!! I really love it when people leave a short story and why they like or dislike a certain picture…although no one says when they dont hey!!! enjoy the rest of the weekend!! xox
