Tapitallee is one of my most favourite places in the world. The rural majesty, the animal life, wombats, kookaburras, deer, frogs, ducks and peace. The warm and wonderful hospitality shown by Carol and Kevin Kilner of Tapitallee Lodges all go to make Tapitallee one of the most beautiful places.
Wombat Gully so named by me, because I (all alone) followed a wombat down this ravine one night. Bravely shining my torch, going where no woman has gone before. Heart racing, wombats can be quiet fierce and aggressive, dodging spiders and other unmentionable things. Legs scraped and bleeding, adrenalin flowing.
The thrill, the rush to be able to touch my inner child again. To forget for just a little while that I’m a 45yr old mother/grandmother with cares and responsibilities… To be free as only a child can be..
So chase a wombat……..Be Free!!
