Taken during winter in the beautiful Glencoe, Scottish Highlands.
My most favourite mountain of ALL time and i certainly, if i could – live here happily – build a house right next to it!
The Weeping Glen, is the best known and most visited glen in all of Scotland, and with good reason. The glen lies east to west with the steep hillsides of The Three Sisters to the south, and the Aonach Eagach or ‘Notched Ridge’ to the north. Guarding the entrance to the glen from Rannoch Moor is the mighty Buachaille Etive Mor, the most spectacular of all the Scottish mountains.
The huge mountain of Buchaille Etive Mor (1022m/3,352ft) guards the entrance to Glencoe when approaching from Rannoch Moor. The mountains has an alpine feel, especially in winter, with well known ridges and rugged features providing rock and winter climbing possibilities that are justifiably amongst the best in Scotland.
