well done on the shoot-from-the-hip technique : it’s a valuable skill (and… look at the size and shape of the guitar-thingy!)

thanks for your kind words. the incredible instument which one of these military russian dudes plays is a bass balalaika. they sang very melodramatic and a little bit depressed from the good old days in the soviet union.

Fabulous shot Marcel as are all the pics in your PF.
This shot also shows just how good film can be in terms of tone. At its best film is so much better than digital.
