Well, I’m a thirty something married man. I have always liked to take photos but really never had the time when I was younger.

Then back in 2003 I bought my first digital camera. It was an Epson PhotoPC 850Z and I loved it and for a 2.1 megapixel camera it rocked. I even had a few lenses for it like a Wide angle and a few macro lenses.

Then in 2005 I bought a Canon SD400 and this became my primary camera for a long time. The Epson died and the SD400 was just so small and easy to take around.

I took it every where and within 2 years took over 10,000 pics. But I realized I was missing a lot and wanted to take my photography up a notch so in Aug of 2007 my wonderful wife purchased a Canon Digital Rebel XTi. Wow what a difference.

I got a few lens for the XTi. A Canon 50mm 1.8 prime lens, A Tamron 28mm -80mm, and a Tamron 55mm – 200mm. I mostly use the 50mm and the telephoto. But I have just purchased the Tamron 17mm – 50mm and I am loving it. I am finishing up my first photography class so I’m hoping my photography is getting better. * Update. I just got a new Canon 85mm f1.8 prime lens :) Also I am about to begin my next photography class called Digital Darkroom. I am hoping my photoshop skillz start to really shine soon. :) * Update. Well I’ve finished my Digital Darkroom class, it was a good experience. I am now about to start a light class. I hope to finally figure out my flash. :)
