“You will probably see allot of this glacier in my photo’s. The Mendenhall Glacier is the only glacier you can see from a city. It is located in Juneau, Alaska. For the past two years I lived in a remote dog camp about twelve miles up. We give tourists dog sled rides around the glacier four five months in the summer. This was in January. I spent a couple of winters there going to UAS. It is a temperate rain forest. They average 70-80 inches of rain a year. Better take your rain gear.”
