Anne, this is glorious! Gentle and vibrant at the same time, and the inn behind makes it feel so homey. Fabulous.

sooo colorful the out of clearness works fine-oh on my scream- i did it for a =x= lady pal- not?to blow my own horn- but a friend of mine that went to norway and seen munchs told me he liked mine better- but? then he-is a friend ha-ha- i gave it away- to a munch lover who could not afford the real one-she gave me a kiss-

  • Anne Hale replied

I’m so glad she liked Scream and offered you, hopefully, a very nice kiss as payment. I noticed that you are not selling copies of your paintings. They are wonderful and you should sell them as greeting cards and prints here.

  • madvlad

    madvlad

yes i should anne- i only have an cheap camera- if i were to sell on redb- i,d want first class photo,s of my art works- mostly i just share my art with pals to have fun and meet other artists- and exchange thoughts about art etc- i have my art in galleries here-and other places- but? with the finanual- disaster right now- you can,t give art away-here or anywhere,- the only art you can sell in this town is lanscapes or wild life- my art is more set for the cites where wild and strange art is appreciated— years ago when i started art i sold tons of seascapes and landscapes- but got very bored with that kind of art-each one finds their own voice and taste in life or art mine is all over the place-butt thank you for your sugestion wise lady!—i hope you sell your art all of them are tranquil and full of what the world needs=peace= and beauty

  • Anne Hale replied

You are correct in noting that art is not selling much. I have noticed it here. There have been a few watercolour paintings and photos sold here, but the majority of sales are t-shirts. I do love all of your art, but I do tend to go towards seascapes, landscapes and floral. I also would not call your art “wild and strange”. It is more inline with Picaso with beautiful and vivid colours. My art is created digitally, unlike your traditional art. Many people frown on digital art and do not consider it a real artform. Oh well, I’m still learning and will most likely continue learning thanks to great artists like yourself as inspiration.

never—never leave your muse-behind anne if nothing else- fill your home with art and make it a place of joy for=you= my home is a living museum of art- if my walls were all white i,d die! of bordum- art eye or ear- keeps us alive and full of creative joy- your just new? at this? if ture-learn all you can about all the ways of getting art made- i do ceramics too and sclupting too if i have the space-and every way posible oil-acrylic-felt tip pen etc- you too can- for now the way you are doing i is fine!when you master it- then you can go on to others ways of expresing your self-amen!

  • Anne Hale replied

I doubt I will ever leave behind creating some form of art. I have a creative spirit and, if I’m not doing something, I get very bored (the Gemini in me :)) I had been creating art since I was little and into high school. I guit doing art when I started college and went into the real world to work. It wasn’t until 2006/2007 that I discovered digital art and there is no turning back for me now. Your home is indeed very alive and colourful.

Thank you for sharing your beautiful work on RB.

except for my art collection of other artists- all the walls in my apt get changed every month-if i am heathy? i do art every day my wife passed away several years ago- so i have nothing but time to paint – in summer i get out a lot but i nwinter it is awful here with cold and wind plus snow- so i get very busy and forget the other side other then for exersize-but- if you have a family? you don,t have the time i do—i already paid my dues to work-now goof off time-till god calls me home? or the other place?the only down side is i have not room to live in now ha- ha- my walk in closets are full! well- have a good friday anne and yes keep the muse!! it seems you have had it since being a child- keep the child,s love of invention!!

I love this painting. I came over from primative art to see if you had your avatar as artwork, I have always thought it was so neat.

  • Anne Hale replied

Hi Norval… thank you! I created what is now my avatar quite a while back when I was still learning Corel Painter. Unfortunately, the original file is only 72 dpi and not large in size, so I do not consider it a good quality piece of art to post here. Many thank you’s, though, for your very kind comment. :)
