Gorgeous in b & w! Monotone really suits our Canadian winters!

  • Anne Hale replied

Thank you so much, Joanne! I prefer winter scenes in black and white because of the contrast; and you are correct, it really does suit our beautiful Canadian winters.

So serene, you not only captured the stillness and texture but also the temperature! Makes me miss home.

  • Anne Hale replied 28 days ago

Thank you, Breezy54! It was a beautiful, balmy -10 C that day. It was a great day for snowshoeing. We weren’t complaining since the temperature could have been -34 C! :)

Marvelous capture…very lovely winter scene ..my kind of peace place for winter…with a good wood stove of course….beautiful

  • Anne Hale replied 27 days ago

I think you would love it here, Marchello, if you like to get away from it all. It is a winter wonderland when it snows. Thank you very much for your visit to my gallery and for all of your lovely comments! :)

Love this scene but only if I don’t have to live there after Christmas, lol Barbara

  • Anne Hale replied 23 days ago

LOL… you don’t like the cold and snow? If it’s cold, you just curl up in front the wood stove and read a really good book. I agree with you about not staying too long; the rockies can get lots of snow and get very cold. My sincere thank you, Barabar, for visiting my gallery and leaving such wonderful comments. :)
