    thanks anne, my g.ma came from n.s. and my g.pa from nfl and i went there one see my roots and loved both places-so your lanscapes looked farmilar- enjoyed seeing your art too keep it up

I hope you will have the opportunity to visit the Canadian Maritimes again. It is really quite beautiful here, and I’m sure your grandparents loved their life here too. This summer is the Tall Ship Festival in Halifax. It is a sight to see.

    my grand dad was captain of fishing ships out of st jacques nfl and gloucester mass and i was at sea my self 4 years asa young man- i,m far from the sea now- but go see it at lest once a year- ans miss the taste of salt air and the moanful sound of the fog groaner out in the bay-of my youth-off my island- i was in halifax only once on my way down to voglers cove to see my g-ma,s birth home, the two weeks i was there it was heavenly—met a bunch of kin i never knew-exsisted -i went fishing-cod with them and had a ball-tanks for your delightfull note pax

    I’m really happy to hear that you still love the sea. I love it and should have been born with webbed feet. It’s also wonderful to hear you recall your memories of your grandparents and your time spent at sea. They sound like wonderful times.
