A little girl in a tutu
and a miniature man in an inside out tshirt,
Both swinging in and out
in the chaotic dance of Toddlers.
She’s getting dizzy,
and he’s just getting started!
They bump into each other as they
Spin, Twist, and Twirl
about the Living room.
Their darling little smiles light up the room
as they bow to the applause
that results from their little swing.
I wonder where we will be in a few years.
Will they be dancing
A little ten year old girl
and her twin brother,
Dancing together as
Brother and Sister.
Yet still getting dizzy,
And sumbling about…
Just a few more years later,
He’’l act the typical teen,
Stubborn, mulleheaded, and annoying…
But in the end she’ll be too persuasive.
She’ll pull his reluctant self
onto that dance floor.
He’ll be stiff, robotic, and jerky.
But she’ll be a vision,
a vision of Beauty.
She’ll steal plenty of hearts,
Gliding across that Floor.
Just a little while later,
They’ll be at their prom.
And what a sight they’ll be.
She’ll Twirl beautifully about,
And he’ll finally match her grace.
Men, and women too…
Shall lose their hearts that night.
Her in her prom dess, and him in his tux,
Both a vision.
Yet again its only a few years later,
She’s dancing in her wedding dress,
And her brother dances with her,
One last time.
Her smile is filled with pure JOY.k
She’s more beautiful than she’s ever been.
There’s a new light in her eyes,
that can only be identified as love.
Her brother feels a skight
Tap on his shoulder.
And there he is,
the man that caused the
flush in her cheeks
and the joy in her eyes.
He hands over his sister
to this man.
All this comes to my mind
just watching as
two little twins dance abut…
But so prefect
