Pink Snow Gums
The sun was just setting in front of these ghostly pale snow gums near Mt.Hotham in Victoria giving them, and the snow a soft pink hue. These were snow gums were burnt in extensive bushfires a few years ago, and unlike many snow gums in the area haven’t regenerated. Perhaps in part due to the ferocity of the fire in the area, and also due to the particularly exposed location they were growing in.

Even when they are dead, they create so much beauty in the landscape. They are amazing sculpures and that pink makes them even more attractive!
