    Mark another superb image! How long must you spend waiting for images such as these to appear in the viewfinder … you must be a patient man! I’m inspired to take some macro photos … maybe even this weekend.

    Thanks for the comments guys. You are right Peter, it does take a lot of patience to get these shots and you’ll often find me down on my hands and knees stalking insects in our garden. I also take a ridiculous amount of shots to get only one or three usable images. I think for this one shot I took about 70 in total.

    Hard to do, I spend ages stalking and now they pop in uninvited when I’m after other creatures. This is wonderful, St Focus was watching over you.

    Nice, if you dont mind me asking, what camera do you use/lenses as the clarity is amazing. I’m guessing its a canon !!!

  • Hi Brian – this was taken with a Canon 350d with the 100mm macro lens attached. Entry level camera but it is the lens that gives the clarity results.
