Great shot, Mark. Wasn’t the sky brilliant tonight. I took my son to Redhead Beach – he played in the sand while I took photos. Posted 2 if you’d like to check them out.
I’d heard that Maitland Markets were up and down – apparently lots of people go through but they are mostly lookers. But you’ll never know if you don’t give it a go. I was selling cards for $3 and $5 – can’t compete with 50cents….who could????
Hi Mark, Re your other comments – Have you thought about trying the Markets in town on Sundays @ Honeysuckle?? They cost between $45-$55 for a stall (expensive I know) but they get a lot of tourists through who would love your work. I’m giving Adamstown a go in a few weeks – it only cost $8. A guy from the photo shop in The Junction was there a couple of weeks ago selling 5×7 mounted prints. Not sure if he sold many. Most people go to Adamstown expecting bargains.
There’s also a cafe/booking office for cruises on the boardwalk at Honeysuckle. You can hire bikes there too. They get heaps of tourists in there. Maybe you could take your work in there, show them and maybe come to some arrangement….could be worth a go. Let me know how you go.. Warner’s Bay markets are apparently very good too.
