Fall Faerie Wings

Yaaaaaaaay!!!!!!!! I finally finished the fall faerie wings that I have been working on! Now the only problem is fall is almost over with. Hoping to get a few good photo shoots in for the 2010 calender before fall is over with. Put allot of work into these wings. Was hoping to get faster at it but like the other setts of wings these also took about forty hours. :S They are very large though! Measuring in at a whopping five feet from wing tip to wing tip. My daughter isn’t even that tall! The idea behind my wings and why I make them so large is to make them believable. Like a person could actually fly with them.
Ever watch Barbie Fairytopia? Her wings are quite large.
Had a hard time finding just the right fabric. Good fall colors are very rare even in the fall. But the dress was the worst!
I looked everywhere! Finally found one but it’s not exactly what I was looking for. Oh well have to make due I guess. What can I say I guess I’m a work aholic. No no this is more like play.
Oh well maybe someone will remember me after I’m gone.
